This total look competition challenges students to showcase their styling skills on textured hair in a high-energy, live model competition. Note: to qualify, model’s hair must be Curly(level 3) or Coily (level 4). Participants may pre-cut and/or pre-colored hair, but the real magic happens in the 30-minute styling showdown. Whether it’s sculpted updos, defined curls, intricate braids, or creatives twists, competitors must craft a look that celebrates the beauty, versatility, and artistry of textured hair. No extensions or any form of clip-ins are allowed. A panel of industry experts will judge based on: Creativity & Originality – How innovative and trend-forward is the style? Technical Skill & Execution – How well is the hair manipulated and finished? Suitability & Presentation – How well does the style complement the model and the theme? Overall Impact – How polished and professional is the final look? The winner will earn a Trophy, prize package and bragging rights, plus the chance to be recognized as a rising star in the world of textured hairstyling.
