Created by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) Foundation, this one-hour class was designed to raise awareness for domestic violence, and to equip beauty professionals with information to recognize the signs of abuse in friends, family, clients and co-workers; respond appropriately; and safely refer victims and survivors to help and resources. During this training, participants will gain a deeper understanding about the impact domestic violence can have on their colleagues, clients, and those close to them, learn how to safely and appropriately discuss the topic, and review helpful resources to share. At the end of the session, each participant will walk away with a certificate of completion, resources for clients and colleagues, and additional information on how they can continue to be change makers in their communities.
