Being a salon owner in Brooklyn, New York and serving the Park Slope community for many years, with its abundance of diversity, culture and fashion, has provided the platform to highlight Robert's individuality. It has afforded him the opportunity to pursue his passion with a true sense of vision. 
 
Firmly believing education is fundamental to empowerment, continuing education has always been a driver in Robert’s personal growth and development. A part of that is mentoring his team and those within the global beauty industry. Santana believes in sharing his knowledge and elevating those with the same passion. 
As a Bilingual Artistic Director for Matrix, L’Oréal he’s traveled nationally and internationally. His work has been featured in American Salon, Modern Salon, Beauty Launchpad, People In Español, Latina and Bazaar magazines to name a few.  
His work has also been presented at New York Fashion Week on various medias and platforms. This has aided him in acquiring a unique sense of refinement in his skill set and delivery. Enabling him through consultation to interpret his guest’s vision and deliver their optimized result. 
Expectations can be many, uniqueness is only one. 
 
One of his greatest life lessons, as for many, came during the Covid pandemic. Robert had a moment, it reminded him of...letting go of your fears, reinventing oneself and unleashing creativity.
